The wedding 2017 was held

Rain and debris were on the program when this year's Wedding Run was to be held on Wednesday, June 7.
There was dry weather for the start of the race and the runners for each distance were sent off offset, so there was room to buckle through.

A total of 110 runners showed up, including 35 super-cool kids! The number of children was the same as last year, although the total number of participants was lower this year. The majority of the children were enrolled in the 3km route, and it was nice to see that there was such a great connection to this new distance.

There was a running trophy as a prize for the child winners, while all the adults received an hour of training with a personal trainer - Carsten Drud from Fitness on the Move in Brylle and Joakim Lynge Jacobsen from Odense sponsored every 2 × 1 hour. As an added bonus, the adult winners will also receive a gift card for the Ladies Mud Race or Extreme Mandehørm, organized and sponsored by Company Sports Odense. The four winners will be contacted directly for this prize.

There should be a huge thank you to all the volunteers who stood in the rain along the route and also a big thank you to those who helped up the race handing out race numbers and packing up afterwards. No one mentioned, again forgotten. You know who you are  Without you, the race couldn't be held - it's that simple!

We were again lucky this year to be gifted with lots of sponsorship gifts. Therefore, against all expectations, there were prizes for all adult runners. Travel-deal.dk provided an ice cream, and Dagli 'Brugsen Brylle provided a bottle of water for everyone. All kids got great medals.
