The Bodhisattva activists in charge of the Idylakkad Renaissance Reading Room and the Library held a special Onam feast for the monkeys at Kavu, Idaikkad.

A large number of people from all over Kerala had come to see the ape of the ape that was eating so much belly. People come from other states to see this. For the past five years, he has been working with the Idaholakkad Renaissance Reading Room and the library's affiliated child care workers.

Chail resident Manikya, who has been delivering an Onam dinner to monkeys for the past seventeen years, put the banana leaves on the table and fed them, then sliced the carrots with rice, sliced the beetroot into thin circles, added the cucumber, parsnip, tomatoes and bake pieces. Making fresh dishes with fruit and tangles, they serve the Onam dinner with water in a banana and paper glass.

In the beginning, only a handful of monkeys came to eat this food. But since then the number of monkeys has been increasing year by year. Now it's over 40.

Visitors would bring a variety of snacks to see the monkey's style. However, a study by the library committee concluded that salt-fed foods could cause problems for their breeding population. It was forbidden for those who came to see monkeys to eat salted foods. The nameplate is also placed here.
